Fathef Hubbard will establish headquarters at Juneau and spend the summer studying the glacier and exploring the Valley of Ten Thousand Smokes. Last year he explored the interior of Kodiak island, the first white man ever to reach the interior. Charles Bartlett, Port Townsend; James Connors Klatt, Santa Ana, Cal., all Santa Clara students, accompanied Father Hubbard.
