(/P)—Captain Roajd Amundsen, leader, and Colonel Umbert.o Nobile, first pilot, of a transpolar expedition in the dirigible Norge, which ended at Teller, Alaska, May 13 announced here today that they will proceed directly to Oslo, Norway, after leaving Nome next month. The explorers go to Seattle on the American continent, by a Canadian railroad to New Vork, where they embark for Oslo. There they plan to write a book of 100,000 words on the Amundsen said they had refused all nvitations to visit cities in the United States and had declined to attend the sesqui-centennial exposition at Philadelphia. He explained that the Canadian route across the continent would be used to avoid the public and the press.
