(/P) —More than 2000 Eskimos and whites along the entire northern Alaska coast were without adequate medical and surgical supplies today after a fire destroyed the $75,000 government hospital Residents of Uncle Sam's farthest north settlement donated blankets and bedding to be usedj in a temporary hospital in the school building. Doctors sent an urgent appeal to government officials for emergency medical and surgical supplies.
