(UP)— Uncle Sam is renting bathing suits and buying orange sticks and powder puffs in the cause of education. It is in a lone instance, however, involving an Eskimo girl studying in the states with the intention of returning to Alaska to teach. The federal government is paying part of her expenses. Adapting her to the customs of the country helps to make her a better teacher, the office of education apparently figures. In her expense account is listed rental bathing suit, 45 cents; stockings, $1.50; orange stick, 5 cents; powder puff, 5 cents.
