Alaska Epidemic Under Control BETHEL, Alaska, March 29 — (AP)—One bureau of Indian affairs doctor remained on duty at four isolated Indian settlements forty miles from here today, treating five spinal meningitis cases after an outbreak took five lives before it was controlled last week. All the stricken, were native children. Medical aid and serum was flown to the section last week after an Eskimo made a twelve-hour dog sled trip here to ask assistance.
