Summary:Lairs Of Tigers Lure Wiley Post: Friend Wife Will Fly With Him When He Hops Up The Coast. LAIRS OF TIGERS LURE WILEY POST Friend Wife Will Fly With Him When He Hops Up the Coast. BURBANK, Cal., July 21. (/P)— Wiley Post, who usually hops off on the spur of the moment when his mood and the weather strikes him, and Mrs. Post may get away tomorrow on a flight across Alaska and Siberia to Moscow. If he does, he will take off on the second anniversary of the completion of his solo flight around the world. He landed at New York on July 22, 1933, after having girdled the earth, crossing 15,400 miles of continents and oceans, in 7 days 18 hours and 49 The flight has been described unofficially as a preliminary survey for an air route, but Post shrugs this off with a declaration that "I'm going to hunt tigers in Siberia." It seems there is rivalry between him and Colonel Roscoe Turner, another flyer of note, who has a lion skin coat. Post wants one of tiger skin. This will be the first time Mrs. Post has accompanied her husband on a long flight.
