Summary:Alaskan Air Route To Be Determined. Alaskan Air Route To Be Determined WASHINGTON, Aug. 21.—(U.E) —Preparations for the addition of another link in the Pan-American highway neared completion when the house approved a senate resolution authorizing a survey to determine the proposed route to Alaska. The resolution authorized the secretary of state to cooperate with Canadian officials in determining the route to be followed through British Columbia, the Yukon Territory and thence to Dawson and Fairbanks. The measure was sponsored in the house by Representative Marion A. Zioncheck (Dem., Wash.) and Anthony J. Dimond, Alaskan delegate.
