(/P)—Confronted by outbreaks of mumps and influenza, Dr. Rex Swartz, territorial health officer here, took drastic steps today to prevent an epidemic. Learning that 44 children were too sick to attend school yesterday, Dr Swartz banned all public meetings, schools, motion picture shows and churches until the contagion subsides Both ailments are in mild forms.
