Bragaw Jr., native of Rathdrum, Idaho, and a former Spokane school boy. Mr. Bragaw has made his home at Anchorage several years. A copy of the Anchorage Daily Times, recently received in Spokane, reviews the work of Anchorage Chamber of Commerce and its plans for development of that section of Alaska. Mr. Bragaw is president of the chamber and is taking an active part in plans for improvement of the Anchorage harbor, establishment of federal court headquarters at that city, construction of an important automobile road and other constructive work. Mr. Bragaw is also president of the Alaska Glacier Tours association, an organization formed to promote hunting of big game in Alaska. The company, organized a year ago, has brought large numbers of hunters from the states. Mr. Bragaw is also worshipful master of the Anchorage Mansoic lodge. He is the son of Robert S. Bragaw, former state auditor of Idaho and at one time a leader in political activities of that state. The elder Mr. Bragaw is now in business in Alaska. Mr. Bragaw's mother Mrs. R. S. Bragaw, is a resident of Seattle. She has been visiting here recently. His wife was Miss Evelyn E. Johnson, Spokane girl and a winner of a beauty contest conducted here in 1913. They were married in Spokane in 1913. Mrs. Bragaw is worthy matron of the Order of Eastern Star at Anchorage.
