Summary:Ketchikan May Become Largest City In Alaska. KETCHIKAN MAY BECOME LARGEST CITY IN ALASKA Ketchikan, Alaska, Feb. 24.—(/P)—If annexation of Charcoal Point, a suburb with a population of 372, is voted at a special election March 17, Ketchikan will be the largest city in Alaska. In 1930, when the last census was taken, Juneau, capital of Alaska, had a population of 4,043. Ketchikan's population was 3,796. If the additional territory is included within the city's limits, it will have 125 more persons than Juneau. Four years ago the annexation bill was voted down.
