Alaska Salmon Pack Reported JUNEAU, Alaska, June 24.—(A P.)—The United States bureau of fisheries' salmon pack returns showed 155,646 cases today, computed through June 19. This compares with the season's first report of 76,895 cases to and including June 12. Reds continued to lead in several sections, and the Copper River pack of 63,540 cases was the largest of any district. Reds totaled 60,140 there, and kings 3,400. Total packs to date from other districts: Cook Inlet, reds, 460; kings, 14,244. Chignik, reds, 1,402; kings, 25; pinks, 65; chums, 27 Alaska Peninsula (south side) reds, 21,311; kings, 1,260; pinks 15,093; chums, 12,203. Kodiak, reds 23,814; kings, 21; pinks, 82; chums 159. Yakutat, reds, '344; kings 1,588.
