Summary:Alaska Esquimos Like Sun's Return. ALASKA ESQUIMOS LIKE SUN'S RETURN POINT BARROW, Alaska, Jan. 26. (/P) -- Exultant Eskimos clambered atop their igloo roofs shouting "Ah Degah," meaning fine, as the arctic night rode out on the wings of an abating storm yesterday and gave the populace its first glimpse of the sun. The usual three-day night was prolonged inexorably this year by for the brief moments that it poked its head above the pole. Today the Eskimos of this most northerly tip of Alaska celebrated the arctic dawn, which will last for months. Gradually the hours of twilight will make way for daylight until the sun shines at midnight.
