T., today after a fifth unsuccessful 22-hour search flight for the missing soviet transpolar plane. A. Vartanian, Russian agent in charge of the general search, said the search would continue indefinitely. Vartanian and other Russian representatives here praised Wilkins' flight which took him about 1000 miles north of the Alaskan coast along the 148th meridian.
