OP)— Fierce storms beat back the light seaplane of Seiji Yoshihara "Lindbergh of Japan," to this port today after he had taken off for Murotan bay in the volcanic Kurile islands on the third hop of his flight of 6268 miles from Tokyo to San Francisco. The young Japanese, with an extremely hazardous air journey before him across the Bering sea and North Pacific ocean, has been held here since Tuesday.
