Summary:Hoisting sails for Gold Seas - equipment of power ship at Cordova to occupy but two weeks, says Benson - An expectation of leaving soon to dredge the ocean waters of Alaska for gold, was announced yesterday by Captain C. Benson, president of the Alaska Bayshore Dredging company, in which many residents of the Inland Empire are interested. At Cordova, Alaska, he has leased an ocean-going power vessel that will be equipped there so that no time may be lost in starting the expedition, he said.
