Summary:Oldest dentist wedded 65 years Nearly 90 years of age, and obviously the oldest practicing dentist in the state of Washington, Dr. C. W. Chamberlin of Yakima is seen in this picture with his good wife, with whom he has ben married 65 years. Dr. Chamberlin has just celebrated his 89th birthday anniversary. He ran away and enlisted in the Civil war as a schoolboy and served in several campaigns. Two brothers were officers. He accompanied Grand Duke Alexis of Russia on a buffalo expedition in 1869. His activities included a term in legislature, service as a director of the Alaska-Yukon exposition and various civic offices. He has also been a fruit grower and owner of two orchards. The estimable couple have two sons, a daughter and a lot of grand and great-grand-children.
