Description
Summary:On Top Of The Spokane "World" Father's Day. On Top of the Spokane "World" Father's Day. This is not a picture of the north pole, but it's "on top of the world'' as far as Spokane is concerned. Photo was taken Sunday on Mount Spokane, 5800 feet above sea level, at the dedication of the four-foot sunball, Father's day memorial of the Spokane Federation of Women's Organizations. Mrs. Mary McAllister, president of the Eagle Feathers club Indian women's organization, is shown in the center, against the monument. To the right is Mrs. H. B Grayhill. left is Mrs John Bruce Dodd, originator of Father's day, with little Virginia Hailing, granddaughter of Mrs. Graybill. At Mrs. Dodds side is Kenneth Kofmehl, and just behind him is Miss Cora Oleson, president of the Spokane federation.
