Summary: | Above Zero; Yakima Glad: Weather Seems Almost Warm After Recent Experience. ABOVE ZERO; YAKIMA GLAD. Weather Seems Almost Warm After Recent Experience. YAKIMA, Wash., Dec. 16.—For the first time in days the temperature has not dropped below zero today, the minimum being 1.5 above, while the maximum was 14 above, which seemed comparatively warm after the arctic weather of the last few days. At Bumping Lake the minimum was 18 above, which leads old timers to predict a great Chinook when the warmer air from the heights settles into the valley lowlands. |
