Summary: | Host For Test Tram Chosen By Sourdoughs. Host for Test Tram Chosen By Sourdoughs Because it will give him a chance to see the city, James G. Moore, 36-year-old presser, was pleased today that he was elected tentative host of Seattle's experimental street car last night by the Junior Alaska-Yukon Pioneers. If the Street Car Men's Union succeeds in getting a "Presidents' conference" street car here for an experimental run, and if officials will permit a host aboard, Moore will don a parka and officiate on the car. The junior pioneers also "adopted" Lucille Swimm, brunette; drum majoress of University Post, American Legion, as their candidate to be hostess on the demonstration trackless trolley. She is one of three hostesses chosen at a Legion charity dance—but Mayor John F. Dore has said no hostesses will be allowed on the trolley. Both host and hostess will wear parkas, symbolic of the Alaska-Yukon group, if they are allowed on the cars. Irvin F. Heise, J. A. Y. P, president, said he doesn't know what will happen next. "We're kind of stalled now," he said. "We've got a hostess and host, but we don't know what to do with them. We'll just stand by for a while."
