Description
Summary:Where Shield Marks Pacific Crest Trial!. Where Shield Marks Pacific Crest Trial! The little lake in this picture has no name, and neither has the glacier. This is one of the many wilderness scenes to be found on the 2300-mile length of the Pacific Crest Trial System which runs from Canada to Mexico along the divide created by the cascade and Sierra Nevada mountain ranges. The glacier forms the source of Snoqualmie National Forest. Inset shows the maker used to designate the greatest of all mountain trails.
