Summary:2000 Moose Of Inland Empire And Other Parts Meet 3 Days. 2000 Moose of Inland Empire and Other Parts Meet 3 Days More than 2000 members of the Loyal Order of Moose, from the northwest and Canada, will convene in Spokane July 16-18. The lodgemen will come from Washington, northern Idaho, Montana, Alaska, Oregon and western Canada. President Dave Milligan from Vancouver, B. C., will preside for the men; President Stella Wollaston of Spokane, for the women's auxiliary. Features of the convention of interest to the general public and friends of the Moose will be the parade of all uniformed units at 8 o'clock Friday evening, July 17, and the drill team, drum corps and band contests to be held at Manito park Saturday afternoon, July 18. Assisting Dr. Bert Whitford, general chairman, the following committees have been appointed: Reservations, Dr. Earl Ramsey; banquet, George Young; dance, B. C. Holt, chairman, and George Frisbie and Fred Cropp; sight-seeing, Dr. Cummings, chairman, and Ted Holmes and Leroy Cumming; reception greeters, J. A. Mearow and E. S. Hennessey; entertainment, Baldy Strang; membership, Fred J. Lake. Attorney George W. Young, Spokane, will be one of the leading officials of this great gathering. Among prominent visitors will be supreme officers including Mrs. Jane Debus, grand regent; Senator James A. Davis, dictator-general; Walter Ruff, supreme dictator, and Judge Darius A. Brown, governor of Mooseheart. Women's auxiliaries will be in attendance.
