WASHINGTON STATE COLLEGE, PULLMAN, May 14.—Cougar spring football practice ended here today with a smashing- spectacular 34 to 0; victory or the varsity team over the supervarsity squad. Driving power and punch were displayed by the linesmen, who opened big holes for long gains by backfield men. Two touchdowns were scored in the first half by Ted Rohwer, halfback and one a piece by Gustafson, fullback; Koenig, halfback, and Winkler, end, in the second half. Rowher was the outstanding player of the day proving himself a triple threat, and was described by Coach "Babe" Hollingbery as a find. He was ably seconded by Koenig, Eskimo halfback, who made two 30-yard runs around the ends which resulted in touchdowns, and Gustafson, fullback he showed amazing driving force when he was in the lineup, and the coach predicted he would be a backfield luminary in the fall.
