Summary:Visit Six Parks By Air: Spokane On Itinerary Of Dawn-To-Dusk Portland Plane. VISIT SIX PARKS BY AIR Spokane on Itinerary of Dawn-to- Dusk Portland Plane. Spokane will be one of the stops of the Portland plane which will undertake to fly 2500 miles and visit six national parks in 17 hours on Wednesday. The flight is sponsored by the Portland Oregonian and the Shell Oil company. The air tour will also include a national monument and several snowcapped mountain ranges in five states. The park to be viewed are Crater lake, Oregon; Grand Teton and Yellowstone, Wyoming; Glacier, Montana; Waterton lakes, Canada, and Mount Rainier, Washington. It is planned to stop for gasoline at Boise, Butte and Spokane. Sponsors expect that the entire journey can be completed between dawn and dusk, according to an Associated Press dispatch from Portland.
