Spokane Co-Eds Honor Admiral Byrd. Spokane Co-Eds Honor Admiral Byrd. Being an antarctic explorer has its advantages—as you can well see in the above situation. When Admiral Richard E. Byrd returns home after his lecturing tour, which took him recently to Washington State college, he'll have school pennants and stickers galore to hang in his study.
