EDITORS TALK,LISTEN AND DINE SEATTLE, Feb. 6.-- Approximately 200 Pacific northwest newspaper editors were to attend the opening sessions of the 13th annual institute of the Washington State Press association here today. Guy Flenner, secretary-treasurer of the Idaho State Editorial association; Lincoln Lounsbury, Washington State college, extension department; President Suzzallo of the University of Washington, and Hal E. Hoss, president of the Oregon State Editorial association, were to deliver addresses. The institute ends tomorrow. Captain S.K. Gudmundsun, pilot in 1820 of the steamship Polar Bear of Nome, Alaska, described his adventures as a prisoner of the Bolshevik in Siberia at a pre-convention smoker last night. Saturday evening the editors will enjoy a banquet at the Wilsonian. More than 175 reservations have already been made for this event. Following been made for this event. Following the banquet the newspaper men will attend the Moore theatre in a body. O.H. Woody, editor of the Okanogan Independent, is president of the state association and Sol. H. Lewis of Lynden is treasurer.
