Summary:SALMON PACK JAMS TERMINALS SALMON PACK JAMS TERMINALS Warehouses on the Seattle waterfront today held a total of 3,500.000 cases of Alaska canned salmon valued at $21,000,000, and more shipments of the record breaking harvest of the silver horde were on their way to this port. The Salmon Terminals at Smith Cove and the Bell Street and Spokane Street warehouses had a total of 2,000,000 cases. The East Waterway Dock reported 700,000 cases and representatives of the Ames Terminal said they had 500,000 cases in storage. Other Terminals Filled A group of terminals on the central waterfront-Piers 3, 5 and 6-reported 300,000 cases. Brokers said the average value of the pack was $6 a case. The Alaska Steamship Company reported that seven ships of its fleet, on their way to Seattle from Alaska, have shipments of canned salmon as part of their cargoes. More Cargo Coming They are the Nizina, due tomorrow from Southeastern Alaska; Yukon, due Thursday from Southeastern and Southwestern Alaska; Cordova, due Friday from Southeastern Alaska; Mount McKinley, due Friday from Southwestern Alaska; Bering, due Saturday from Southeastern Alaska, and Aleutian and Northwestern, due Monday from Southeastern Alaska. The steamship Victoria arrived in Seattle today from Southeastern Alaska with 440 passengers, including cannery crews, and shipments of canned salmon. The chartered ship Sacramento of the Alaska Steamship Company was discharging at Bellingham today and is due in Seattle tomorrow with canned salmon to put ashore.
