Summary:5 Alaska Ships to Carry 1,360 5 ALASKA SHIPS TO CARRY 1,360-- Five ships of the Alaska SteamSHIP Company departing from Sett'tie during the next eight days, will carry a total of 1,360 passengers to Alaska, it was learned today from representatives of the The vessels, sailings and number of travelers, follow: Alaska, departing today, 250 passengers; Aleutian, Monday, 350; Victoria, Tuesday, 300; Mount Mc- Kinley, Wednesday, 160; Yukon, Saturday, 300 passengers. Many tourists were aboard the Alaska when she steamed from Pier 2 today, bound for Southeastern and Southwestern Alaska. They included Hall Park McCul- lough and wife of Boston, Mass.; C. W. Sturtevant and wife, Los Angeles; Dr. Dean M. Carroll and wife of Los Angeles, and a party of six tourists from Chicago booked by Burlington Tours. The Victoria will have the Prairie Farmers' Tour Party of 140 member, booked in Chicago, who will make the round trip on the vessel. Aboard the Yukon will be a tour of sixty members sponsored by the American Home Economics Association.
