| Summary: | Alaska to Lure Many Travelers ALASKA TO LURE MANY TRAVELERS-- Seattle Firm Makes Plans for Weekly Sailings-- Continuing the weekly service it operated last summer to Alaska points, Northland Transportation company of Seattle will have its steamer North Sea, with accommodations for 140 first-class passengers, and the motorship Northland, with accommodations for 60 passengers, in service throughout the tourist season this year, according to Frank Clyde, northwest passenger agent of the General Steamship corporation, Ltd., general agents for the Northland firm. The company has arranged sailings each Monday from Seattle to Ketchikan, Wrangell, Petersburg, Juneau, Port Althorp and Sitka, and reports several sailings already sold out, Mr. Clyde said. Travel to Be Heavy "Alaska travel will be heavier than ever this year," he stated. "Not only are some of our sailings already sold out, but also some of the other lines have reported similar conditions at the .peak of the "Persons who wish to visit Alaska the last minute to ask reservations because they will be sure to be disappointed. This condition is true despite the fact that there are two more ships in the trade this year than last and three more than two years ago."
