Summary:Alaska Travel Looms Big ALASKA TRAVEL_ LOOMS BIG Kenneth Cross of Steamship Company Visits Spokane. Kenneth Cross of Seattle, traveling passenger agent for the Alaska Steamship company, spent yesterday in Spokane, calling on prospective tourists for the Alaska trip this summer. He gave a travel talk at the Chamber of Commerce luncheon explaining five reels of pictures of the north land, showing glaciers, waterfalls and mountains. Prospects are for a bigger tourist travel to Alaska the coming summer than for any season since 1928, Mr. Cross explained. Space is sold out in advance for each sailing. Lots of inquiry indicates that many Spokane people contemplate taking one of the Alaska trips this summer.
