Description
Summary:Alaskan Gold Mines Belong To Canada ALASKAN GOLD MINES BELONG TO CANADA Viable gold deposits near Hyder, south of Ketchikan, which are reported to be miles in extent, have been lost to the United States by a decision of American surveyors defining the boundary line between Alaska and Canada., says an exchange. It was decided to follow the lines of Canadian surveys rather than the monuments of early Russian lines. Recent developments of the properties near Hyder, reports of which spread to the outside world, have elicited hundreds of inquires from the United States and even Great Britain, which it believed, may presage a "rush" to Hyder next spring rivaling the famous Klondike stampede.
