Summary:Call Massmeeting to Protest Strike Call Massmeeting to Protest Strike KETCHIKAN, Alaska, Dec. 29. (AP)—The city council called a massmeeting for tomorrow to protest continuance of the Pacific coast maritime strike. The council joined hands with the Pioneers of Alaska, fraternal organization, in agreeing to coordinate Alaskan protests. When the Canadiar Princess Norah arrives with numerous territorial legislators and others prominent in territorial affairs, it is planned to invite them to the massmeeting. Appeals not only to President Roosevelt and congress but also to shipowners and the unions involved probably will be made.
