(AP)-- Plans for a meeting of the Alaskan Federation of women's clubs, which has never convened in the 11 years of its existence, are being formulated at headquarters of the general federation. Membership of the Alaskan federation now includes seven women's clubs, located in Anchorage, Douglas, Juneau, Kodiak, Seward, Skagway and Wrangell. The outstanding project of the federation for the last year has been the eshtablishment of a student loan fund, which is to be used later, as the vote of the club decides, to help in the education of worthy Alaskan students. The Anchorage club has a loan fund of $1000, which now is being used to send students to Alaska college. From the proceed of two harvest fairs whichi it sponsored the Skagway club purchased and remodeled a building to be used as a public library.
