Summary:Northern Line Adds To Service Northern Line Adds To Service-- Increase in the service of the Alaska Steamship Company to two sailings a week will become effective Wednesday, March 24, with the departure of the steamship Baranof for ports of call in Southeastern and Southwestern Alaska. Extensive alterations have been made aboard the Baranof to prepare the vessel for a busy spring and summer in the northern routes. Twenty-two staterooms, including six of the de luxe class, have been built and other improvements made. The steamship Yukon will make the sailing of the Alaska Steamship Company Saturday morning at 9 o'clock for Southeastern and Southwestern Alaska. This vessel on each of her voyages will connect at Cordova with the steamship Curacao for Seldovia, Kodiak and way ports. In April the sailings of this company will be increased to three a week.
