Summary:TANAKA TO GO ON ALASKAN RUN TANAKA TO GO TO ON ALASKAN RUN The steamship Tanana of the Alaska Steamship Company, was put in commission today and began loading cargo at Everett for Nome and Teller. Principally a freighter, the Tanana will carry sixteen passengers when she leaves Seattle Wednesday evening at 5 o'clock. She will take one of the first general cargoes of the year to the ports of the Far North. With a large cargo and a passenger list of '400, the steamship Yukon will sail for southeastern and southwestern Alaska ports tomorrow morning at 9 o'clock.
