Summary:Alaska Thankful For Resumption of Ship Traffic Alaska Thankful For Resumption Of Ship Traffic The Alaska Territorial Chamber of Commerce, representing the leading cities of the Territory, has expressed thanks to the Seattle Chamber of Commerce for its assistance in the fight to restore Alaska shipping, in a letter to the Alaska Department of the Seattle Chamber. The letter was from the Board of Managers of the Alaska Territorial Chamber, representing the Chambers of Commerce of Anchorage, Cordova, Douglas, Fairbanks, Sitka, Juneau, Ketchikan, Nome, Petersburg, Skag- "way, Seward, Valdez and Wrangell. The letter said: "On behalf of our thirteen member organizations, we wish to thank you, and through you, the Seattle Chamber for the fight which you have made to restore Alaska shipping. Without the assistance of your Chamber and other good Seattle people friendly to Alaska, our northern situation still might be in serious plight. While the sky is not yet altogether clear as regards the strike situation, we know we can count on the Seattle Chamber for continued support on behalf of our territory. "Again we thank you for your efforts in our behalf."
