NORTH STAR (via Nome, Alaska), Thursday, Sept. 24.—UP)—Eleven young Eskimos started for school by airplane yesterday. The children, whose lives have been spent on the Arctic Slope, disembarked from the North Star at Kotzebue, giggled and chattered as they boarded a transport plane for a five-hour flight to Anchorage. They were brought south from Point Barrow and adjacent districts by the U. S. Bureau of In- clan Affairs. After loading 1,142 reindeer carcasses at Kivalina for use in South- North Star sailed for Shismaref.
