Shifting Big Boat to Tuluksak River In Kuskokwim District Repairs so extensive that they al most constitute rebuilding have beei made to one of the two dredges of the New York Alaska Dredging Company in the lower Kuskokwim River dis trict, according to reports received in Fairbanks. It is also reported the company is contemplating a big expansior program. The dredge upon which work was done was enlarged and now is provided with buckets of five feet capacity. A crew of around a dozen men have been employed all winter in moving the base camp to a new site six mile; distant and it Is thought this work in still going forward. The company has acquired big areas of ground on the Tuluksak River and has a long period of activity ahead ol it. Bear Creek was the original scene of operations. Manager of the com pany is Jamss K. Crowdy.
