Summary: | Kenneth Krouse was the youngest child of Henry and Florence Krouse. All four boys began working in the family's business, the Krouse Machine Shop, as soon as they were old enough to learn the trade. Kenneth specialized in automotive repair and assisted in other departments as needed. In 1942 Kenneth left to farm with Otto Ruchert, his father-in-law. In this picture he is shown using a drill press. Note the car in background, an Oakland 6, 1916 model. Also shown are a 2 13/16 bore 6 cyl. motor, and on the floor is a 3 horse evener for a Shenandoah hitch (33 horses). |
