| Summary: | The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to conduct an analysis of the economic growth potential of the selected Siberian region, examine market opportunities for business development, available resources, infrastructure, and investment opportunities. Krasnoyarsk Krai was selected for the purpose of this bachelor's thesis as one of the most developed regions with high economic potential. The research clearly indicated that Krasnoyarsk Krai has significant economic potential. This potential is driven by the extensive natural resources of the region and the growing demand for nickel, copper, or platinum. The Krai is therefore clearly identified as the metallurgical center of Siberia. An advantage of the region is also its easy access to energy infrastructure, which positively impacts operational costs. Mining and subsequent processing of metallurgical products require a high proportion of energy. However, a problem of the Krai is its relatively undeveloped transportation infrastructure, which has essentially remained unchanged since the late 19th century and is adapted only for industrial needs. For example, there is only one international airport in the region. Cílem této bakalářské práce bylo provést analýzu potenciálu ekonomického růstu zvoleného sibiřského regionu, zkoumání tržních příležitostí pro rozvoj podnikání, dostupných zdrojů, infrastruktury a investičních možností. Pro účely této bakalářské práce byl vybrán Krasnojarský kraj jako jeden z nejrozvinutějších regionů s vysokým ekonomickým potenciálem. Provedené šetření jasně poukázalo na to, že Krasnojarský kraj má výrazný ekonomický potenciál. Tento potenciál je podmíněn rozsáhlými přírodními zdroji kraje a stále rostoucí poptávkou po niklu, mědi nebo platině. Kraj je tak jednoznačně označován jako hutní centrum Sibiře. Výhodou kraje je také snadný přístup k energetické infrastruktuře, což pozitivně ovlivňuje nákladovou stránku provozu. Těžba a následné zpracování hutních výrobků vyžaduje vysoký podíl energie.
