| Summary: | The aim of this bachelor thesis is to analyse relations of small states with international organizations. The first part of the thesis focuses on advantages and disadvantages of smallness of states in international relations and general reasons of joining international organizations. The second part focuses on Iceland as an example of a small state. The third and largest part analyses relations of small states with specific international organizations. Tato bakalářská práce si klade za cíl zhodnotit vztahy malých států s mezinárodními organizacemi. V první části rozebírá výhody a nevýhody malých států v mezinárodním systému a obecné příčiny vstupu malých států do mezinárodních organizací. Druhá část je zaměřena na Island jako příklad malého státu. Třetí nejobsáhlejší část analyzuje vztahy malých států s vybranými mezinárodními organizacemi. |
