Summary:Originally built as the New York Building for the Alaska-Yukon-Pacific Exposition (1909). Caption on postcard: The Presidents residence - 1101 From material attached to verso: The President's Residence in 1926 (after alteration) Filed in: UW - Buildings - President's House This building was then used as the President's Residence until 1927. It was then remodeled as the Music Building. The building was of frame construction. The outside walls were of stucco, but were later covered over with clapboard.
