Summary:Handwritten on postcard: Library, U. of W. 1911 Filed in UW - Buildings - Library The Washington State Building housed the executive offices of the Alaska-Yukon-Pacific Exposition and functioned as the hub of the exposition. The building became the University of Washington’s library after the exposition (after 1909) and eventually became the home of the Washington State Museum (1927). This building was demolished in 1961, but the Washington State Museum moved into a new building and is now known as the Burke Museum.
