Setsuda was the president of the Japanese Merchants' Association of Seattle, president of the Tokyo Club of Sattle, trustee of the Japanese Association of Washington, member of New Seattle Chamber of Commerce and Seattle Commercial Club, life member of the Seattle Art Association, and president of the Japanese-American Fertilizing and Fisheries Company.
