Summary:Framed print numbered 239/500. About the Artist: "Yukie Adams was born in Hokkaido Japan. She studied art history and oil painting at the Musashino Art College. In 1983 she moved to Anchorage, Alaska where she met and married Alaska Tlingit Henry L. Adams. In 1987 she studied the Northwest Coast Native arts and culture as a new member of the Tlingit family. She moved to Washington State and studied Northwest Coast Indian Design at the University of Washington under Marvin Oliver. She has been creating silkscreen prints, paintings and carvings based on the traditions of the Tlingit heritage." Yukie Adams' works are in public and private collections in the U.S. and in Japan.
