Summary:One of a set of menus issued for a cruise up the Inside Passage from Seattle to Alaska by the Alaska Steamship Company, Room 979, Pier Two, Seattle. Menu cover image is etching of "the lone prospector": a man, his pack dog, and his pack and his gold pan. There is a secondary image of a man panning for gold on lower right of etching. Menu is part of a series of dry point etchings with Alaska themes by Eustace Paul Ziegler. Inside cover is line drawing of cruise ship and captain, with promotional blurb about the Alaska Line.
