Also shows several regions including Tibet and Siberia. Displays several bodies of water including the Baltic Sea, Caspian Sea, the Arctic Ocean and the Sea of Korea as "Mare Orientale Minus." Surrounding the dedicatory cartouche to Anna, Empress of Russia, are female soldiers standing on dead male bodies on either side of a bust of Anna along with a large globe, other instruments and an angel blowing a trumpet. Surrounding the title cartouche are images of a deer's head, a hunters with a bow and arrow and a shotgun, a dog and large wolf. Prime Meridian: Paris. Scale: c.a. 1:17,000,000 [East 27 degrees - East 207 degrees / North 85 degrees - North 25 degrees]. Johann Matthias Hase (Hass) was a professor of mathematics at Wittenberg.
