Summary:Seattle's Moore Theatre opened in December 1907 with an original musical comedy, "The Alaskan." According to the program, the story was set in Nome, and the characters included two prospectors, an heiress, her chaperone, a ladies' maid, a mailman and an art scholar. The eighteen musical numbers included choruses by "Sextette Girls," "Eskimo Girls," "Show Girls," and "Alaskan Miners."
