Kolmakovsky, on the Kuskokvim Old Russian trading-post, established in 1839, two hundred miles up the River; these houses were once surrounded with a sotckade, but such a defence has long been needless. This view is taken from the opposite bank of the River, looking over to the high hills of the Nooshagak divide, and Mount Tamahloopat in the distance
