Winter fishing found on the banks. Migration divides at Straits of Belle Isle, part passing down to the coast of Newfoundland and part through Gulf of St. Lawrence and Cabot Strait. c. Hoods. Summer home in western coast of Greenland. Winter fishing found on banks. Migration divides same as B. But hoods are always to seaward of harps. This entails a crossing over of the 'Strings' of seals, in Straits of Belle Isle. d. Comparatively unknown body of seals on eastern coast of Greenland
