Description
Summary:Planographic prints--lithographs; Illustrated with color printed lithographs. Fourth edition. Originally written in German, this is a French translation designed for the use of families and schools. This is essentially a lesson book that utilizes pictures and objects grouped together conceptually to teach vocabulary and grammar. The illustrations range from exotic flowers, weapons, and modes of transportation to depictions of various geographic locations such as Madrid, the Alps, the Middle East, and the Arctic. Lessons are often written below the illustrations. Together with leaf [21], this page depicts a reindeer with ropes tied around his neck and antlers to pull an Eskimo on a sled behind him. The Eskimo holds harpoons. In the background are ice formations. Geography and travel; Object books;
